Watch: Osama bin laden's grandson killed in air strike
al Qaeda's slain chief Osama bin Laden's 12-year old grandson was reportedly killed in an air strike along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border last year, reports said.
According to media reports, Osama bin Hamza bin Laden died between July and August last year.
The information came to light after Terror monitor, an online platform which keeps a close watch on actions of jehadi groups, tweeted that a letter mourning Osama's grandson was being circulated in Afghanistan.

His father Hamza bin Laden is reportedly being groomed as Osama bin Laden's heir.
Reports say Hamza bin Laden has become active as an al Qaeda propagandist since his father, Osama, was killed by US forces in Pakistan's Abbottabad in 2011.
In January, the US added Hamza to its terror list, who was separated from his father after 9/11.
Several documents which were seized during the raid were released by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) last year.
It also included the first public images of Hamza as an adult.
