'Gracious gesture!' Trump thanks North Korea for promising to dismantle nuclear test site
US President Donald Trump thanked North Korea Saturday for promising to dismantle its nuclear test site.
North Korean state media had reported earlier that the country was "taking technical measures" to dismantle its test site.
"North Korea has announced that they will dismantle Nuclear Test Site this month, ahead of the big Summit Meeting on June 12th," Trump tweeted.
"Thank you, a very smart and gracious gesture!"
Trump will be meeting North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un in Singapore on June 12.
The meeting is unprecedented. No American President has ever met with a North Korean leader while in office.
