Watch: US embassy road signs begin appearing in Jerusalem

Israeli PM Netanyahu had told a US channel that he would "love" to have the US president attend.

US embassy road signs have started showing up in Jerusalem, in at least three places, newswire Reuters reported.

President Trump had recognised Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in December last year and had decided to move the embassy to the holy city.

The US embassy will provisionally open on May 14th while a new site is being built at a new facility. Several reports citing sources in the White House have said the US president may inaugurate the embassy, although it hasn't been confirmed yet.

Israeli PM Netanyahu had told a US channel that he would "love" to have the US president attend.

However, several countries in the United Nations haven't backed the move, even then, Isreal PM Netanyahu has said more countries would be opening embassies in Jerusalem.

Guatemala has already opened its embassy in Jerusalem.
