Trump's medical exam due this week, won't test him for mental fitness

According to the White House, Donald Trump's scheduled medical examination will not include a psychiatric evaluation. 

US president's mental fitness was questioned soon after excerpts from Michael Wolff's book 'Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House' were released.

"He's sharp as a tack," spokesman Hogan Gidley told reporters.

US President Donald Trump will be examined for fitness at the Walter Reed military hospital in Washington this Friday.

Results of his medical examination shall be made public. 

Trump's long-term health advisor, Harold Bornstein, spoke about his health previously calling him "the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency."

Trump recently took to Twitter and called himself "a very stable genius" in response to doubts raised over his mental faculties.
