Video uploaded on a social media website on Tuesday on the 7th of November shows a Hawaiian Airlines plane with its left engine on fire taxiing on the runway in Seattle's international airport.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport said in a tweet on Wednesday, the 8th of November, that the aircraft was a ferry flight and no injuries had been reported. The tweet explained ferry flights are flights with no passengers and with only flight crew onboard.

"A left engine fire reported upon landing was extinguished. There were no passengers onboard, and the two pilots were unharmed. The aircraft is currently being inspected," Hawaiian Airlines said on Twitter on Wednesday.

According to Hawaiian Airlines' tweet, the plane flew from Paine Field Airport, which is a small international airport 30 miles (48 km) north of Seattle, to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport which is the city's primary commercial airport 13 miles (21 km) south of its downtown.
