Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is leading in three states -- Indiana, Kentucky and New Hampshire -- while his rival Hillary Clinton is projected to win Vermont.

Donald Trump is projected to win traditional Republican strongholds Indiana, Kentucky and Georgia, while Hillary Clinton is projected to bag Vermont.

Meanwhile, polling has closed in crucial swing states -- Florida and Virginia.

Early reports indicate that it is tight between the two presidential contenders in Florida and Virginia.
