India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the biggest Indian diaspora show in Houston, Texas on Sunday with US President Trump in attendance.

The showcase event, eagerly awaited worldwide will be an opportunity for India's prime minister to directly address Indians in Texas, at the same time it will also be an opportunity for US President Trump to interact with the vast Indian community in the run-up to the US Presidential elections next year.

At least 50,000 Indian-Americans are expected to stack the NRG stadium to watch the two world leaders as they hold the stage in the glare of huge media coverage.

The event will begin with a 90-minute cultural programme featuring 400 Indian dancers, and then PM Modi will take the stage.

"India is one of the best FDI destination," he said. "The fact that we lessened corporate tax has been very good for the country."

In order to become a $5 trillion economy, we need these changes, he said.

In the next 2-3 days, I will be speaking to President Trump, I hope positive results will follow, he said.

"Although President Trump calls me a tough negotiator, but he is also famous for the art of the deal and I am learning a lot from him," Modi said.

Referring to Pakistan, PM Modi said: "Where do we find the conspirators of 9/11 or 26/11?"

"The world knows about their duplicity," he said. "President Trump stands against terror," he said.

"Those who can't run their own country, preach us," he said.

"Some people have a problem with abrogation of article 370, these are same people who cant govern their own country properly. These are the same people who shield terrorism and nurture it. Whole world knows them very well."

"Article 370 had deprived people of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh of development.  Terrorist and separatist elements were misusing the situation. Now, after abrogation, people there have got equal rights."

"Cheapest data is now avaliable in India for just 20, 30 cents," he said.

"We are also challenging corruption and giving it a farewell," he told the Indian-Americans gathered at the NRG stadium.

"Article 370 had disallowed the people of Jammu and Kashmir from development," he said.

"India gave a farewell to Article 370," PM Modi said. "Article 370 denied Kashmiris their rights."

PM Modi says 'everything is fine,' in different Indian languages. "Some people thought nothing could change."

"100 per cent families linked to banking services," the Indian prime minister said.

"With ease of business, ease of living is also important," he said.

"Data is in the new gold," he said. "Cheapest Internet data avaliable in India," he added.

PM Modi said visa and passport services have become easier.

"Tax returns were a big headache earlier, now things are much easier." Online registrations have jumped manifolds. Just in one day, 50 Lakh tax returns were filed, more than the population of Houston.

"I apologise to all those Indians who couldn't come here today even though they had registered since there weren't that much space," the prime minister said.

"In the general elections, women voted in large numbers and several women were also elected," he informed Indian-Americans at the NRG stadium.

"We are known for our patience," said. "Development is our biggest goal," he said.

As Trump left the stage, PM Modi once again addressed the crowd.

"I thank US Congressman gathered here," the Indian PM said, adding,"1.30 billion Indians thank the American representatives here."

"New history and chemistry is being seen here," Modi said.

"Indian-Americans have proved that Houston is strong," he added.

"This programme is called "Howdy, Modi" but Modi cannot do anything alone," PM Modi asserted. "I am an ordinary citizen serving 1.30 billion people."

"Hard working Indian-Americans being lauded today."

"We are known for our diversity, we are known for our several languages," the Indian prime minister said.

"We have different food habits and seasons, it makes us unique," Modi said.

"Unity in diversity is our strength," he said.

"America is a country of risk-takers," Trump said,adding,"everyone here has a great role to play in the American future."

"We are proving the awesome power of democracy and free people," Trump said.

"We will achieve incredible advancement for our people," Trump said.

"We are also looking to enhance space cooperation," he said.

"In November, we will conduct tri-service military excercise," he said.

Sending a strong anti-terror message, Trump said: "We will jointly fight radical Islamic terrorists."

"India lifted 300 million people from poverty, under PM Modi," Trump added.

"We welcome growing investments of India in Texas," Trump said.

"India will shortly have NBA," he said. "Am I invited Mr Prime Minister," he asked PM Modi, "I may come," he added.
