"What we need is a comprehensive approach which includes education," PM Modi said at the UN climate change summit. 

"We are encouraging e-mobility. We have given gas connection to 150 million families."

"What is needed a comprehensive approach that covers education, lifestyle, development strategy. We need global people's movement to bring about change, respect for nature is part of our tradition," Modi said. 

"In India, we are going to increase our renewable energy capacity to 175 gw by 2022," PM Modi informed the summit.

"This year, on the occasion of India's Independence Day, we called for a people's movement to end the usage of single-use plastic. I hope that this will create an awareness at the global level against single-use plastic," Modi said.

"Tomorrow we are going to inaugurate solar panels on the roof of UN. The time for talk is over, world needs to act now," PM Modi asserted.

"We have started the Jal Jeevan mission for water conservation, rain water harvesting, and for the development of water resources, " PM Modi said.

"In the next few years, India is going to spend $50 million it," the Indian prime minister said, adding,"in order to make our infrastructure resilient in the face of disasters, India is launching a disaster resilient infrastructure."
