Google likes staying ahead of everyone and so today, Google Doodle announced Christmas countdown with cute little penguins and parrots dressed in caps and colourful winter wear.

The penguins and parrots can be seen talking on phone and planning for a family vacation. In the first image, penguins can be seen discussing plans with parrot relatives while in the second image, they can be seen planning for the trip as a long holiday is approaching.

Google on the Christmas doodle said: “The festive season is here and this pair of slippery-footed siblings are excited to spend time with their warm-weather relatives! “Stay tuned over the next couple of weeks to see what kind of fun this feathery family has in store.”

Christmas Day is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ on December 25. Christmas is celebrated across the world as a universal festival, not just by the Christians but by other religions as well. Celebrations includes attending special church services, spending time with family members, wearing new clothes and eating a festive meal. Some families exchange gifts or give small presents or sweets to children.

Some stores and shopping arcades also put up Christmas decorations.
