Khashoggi was murdered inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey on October 2.

Khashoggi was getting married the following day. He had gone to the consulate to pick up paperwork related to that.

The Saudis flew down a hit squad of 15 men to carry out the killing. Khashoggi's body was then dismembered with a bone saw and dissolved in acid.

The Saudis denied the murder for two weeks, before finally confessing to it.

America's CIA has since said the execution was ordered by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.
