China has also granted her company another set of eight trademarks on a provisional basis

US President Donald Trump's daughter and advisor Ivanka Trump continues to win foreign trademarks for her company in countries like China. The latest in Ivanka's kitty is the 13th Chinese trademark bagged by her company in the past three months.

China, on Sunday, granted Trump's company the 13th trademark in around last 90 days this year. China has also granted her company another set of eight trademarks on a provisional basis.

With as many trademarks in place, Ivanka Trump will be able to market a host of products in China, from furniture, coffee, chocolates to perfume, baby blankets among a range of other products.

The development has sparked a wave of reactions with many noting if Ivanka's trademarks-bagging spree conflicts America's policy on trade and business with the Xi-Jinping regime.

Ivanka Trump now emerges at the centre of a controversy that sees the possibility of her using her status to swing business propositions with other countries in her favour. Many fear that Ivanka Trump may also design her policies influenced by the countries with which she engages in business.

Although Ivanka Trump no longer manages her brand, she continues to profit from it.
