Hong Kong reports two locally-transmitted coronavirus case in three weeks

Hong Kong has reported its first two locally transmitted coronavirus cases in three weeks. The virus could not be linked to anyone who travelled overseas and the authorities are trying hard to find the origin of the virus. 

Hong Kong is known as an Asian financial hub and has has been one of the most successful cities to contain the contagious virus. Most cases in the city were mostly imported and were quarantined immediately, but new locally transmitted cases have made the city officials worried. 

The city under Chinese rule had eased its lockdown by reopening the bars, gyms and cinema halls last week. They aimed to bring students back to school by the end of month. The officials placed ban on gatherings larger than eight people.

According to latest government health report, two local cases includes a 66-year-old housewife and her 5-year-old granddaughter. One imported case of coronavirus was also reported bringing the total number of cases to 1,051 with four casualties.
