Google Doodle celebrated International Women's Day with 12 different powerful doodles compiled in one main doodle on Thursday.

The doodle is featuring doodles made by twelve artists from twelve different countries.

The search engine had asked artists to contribute and illustrate the reflections of their own personal experiences as women.

The brief that was given to the artists was 'growth'.

Reportedly the illustrators who made these colourful comics are from Japan, England, Brazil, Thailand, Sri Lanka, South Africa, America, India, Germany, Mexico, Pakistan, and Italy.

Each doodle tells a story of a moment, an event or a person that made an impact on their life the most, and portrays the different generation of women at various times in their life.

Stories related to a moment of becoming a mother to narrating the experience of coming out as a transgender woman.
