<p>US President-elect Donald Trump on Saturday called Cuban socialist icon Fidel Castro a &quot;brutal dictator who oppressed his people for six decades.&quot;</p>

<p>Castro died on Friday night at the age of 90.</p>

<p>Trump took to Twitter after Castro&#39;s death was announced by his brother and current Cuban President Raul Castro early on Saturday.</p>
