High school seniors donning masks have returned to schools in South Korea. Mandatory temperature checks were carried out at the entrance. Elementary, middle and high school students will rejoin in a phased manner till June 1.

China’s Jilin province reported four new cases. All new cases were local transmissions. The province has reported 133 locally transmitted cases so far. 1,181 close contacts of the patients are also under observation. China’s official tally stands at 82,965.

Muslim protesters prayed in Skanderbeg square against Kosovo's decision to keep mosques closed. Close to 50 people defied lockdown restrictions to hold a mass prayer. Organisers asked the participants to wear a mask & maintain social distancing.

China has asked journalists to take a virus test before attending parliament events. Journalists have to undertake a nucleic acid test & quarantine themselves till the test results come.

5-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo rejoined Juventus for training. Ronaldo spent the last two weeks in quarantine before rejoining his teammates. All players have been asked to respect social distancing while training.

China tested 856,128 residents of Wuhan on Tuesday. Over 467,000 were tested in the city a day earlier. Wuhan is testing its entire population to identify any asymptomatic carriers.
