According to a leaked White House report, coronavirus rates are spiking in the heartland communities of America

US President Trump is still making headlines for the wrong reasons. This time, he lambasted an American reporter born in China. Donald Trump finally decided to host his first media briefing since April 27.

He appeared in the White House rose garden with a sign behind him that sanctimoniously read: "America leads the world in testing".

One reporter at the press conference challenged Trump as to why he viewed testing as a global competition. The United States has lost over 80,000 lives as the coronavirus gripped the nation.

But Donald Trump did not think it was fair, he did not like the question. It did not help that the reporter's name was Weijia Jiang - a Chinese-American. Trump's response to her was "don't ask me, ask China"

"Why is this a global competition to you if every day Americans are still losing their lives to the virus," asked CBS reporter Weijia Jiang. "Ok, anybody else," said Trump while saying it was a nasty question and decided that the questions to follow would be equally nasty.

So Donald Trump decided to not hear them. He simply stormed out of the press conference. ..

"I have two questions (Trump can be heard saying next, next please). you called on me, " CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins said.

"I did. and you didn't respond and now I'm calling. The young lady in the back, please. (Collins can be heard saying 'but can I ask you...') ladies and gentlemen. thank you very much, appreciate it. Thank you very much," Trump said.

According to a leaked White House report, coronavirus rates are spiking in the heartland communities of America. The report belongs to the White House pandemic task force. According to the report, coronavirus infection rates are spiking to new highs in several metropolitan areas and smaller communities across the United States.

The pandemic is spreading quickly beyond coastal areas that were the initial hotspots. It is moving inwards towards Texas, Kentucky, Nebraska and Arizona.

These are areas that have recorded a 72 per cent or greater surge in the number of COVID-19 cases. The data is at odds with all claims of normalcy by the US president.

Despite this, President Trump wants America to be liberated from the lockdown his supporters are religiously defying social distancing. They are armed with guns not masks and it keeps getting bizzare. There have been anti-lockdown protesters doing squats and push-ups outside a courthouse in Florida because they want gyms to reopen, they want to stay fit.
