Anger rooms are getting popular in China as customers are allowed to vent their rage by smashing objects within a room.

Jin Meng, co-founder of Smash Anger Room says she gets up to 600 clients each month who come to her company to use the anger room.

"It costs about 20 US dollars per person for a 30-minute session. What drives these people to this point? Well, everything from stress to rocky relationships. One woman brought all her wedding photos here and smashed them all," Jin said.

Customers use baseball bats to smash bottles and they are also allowed to bring their personal items, which they wish to destroy.

"It feels so good when I break those bottles and watch them destroyed," said Qiu Siyu, a customer.

"Basically, you can smash anything except for a person: a TV, a computer, bottles, furniture, mannequins," said Liu Chao, another customer.

Jin maintains that the idea of the anger room is to vent out frustrations rather than promoting violence.

"In the room, no questions will be asked and there will be no judgment. A simple rule of the company is to protect privacy," Jin said.
