America: Reports of surge in racism after Trump elected President
Americans from across the country are posting stories about themselves or others being targeted for discrimination after Donald Trump was confirmed as the next president of the United States.
This doesn't claim to be an exhaustive list, but that there's been this much trouble already suggests sections of society feel newly empowered by Trump to unleash violent hate crimes.

People have said that the thought that the man elected to run America is inspiring hate crimes at all, let alone at this rate, should terrify every normal person.
And that Mr Trump must denounce his supporters when they engage in hateful criminal activity of this sort, even if it means he alienates some of his base.
