On final day of music festival, 3.9-magnitude earthquake shakes Coachella Valley
Follow UsAn earthquake of 3.9 magnitudes struck parts of Coachella Valley on Sunday evening as the Coachella music and art festival was in the final day.
The quake was centred inside Joshua Tree National park, 8 miles from north-northeast of Thousands of Palms located in the Coachella Valley in southern California.
According to United States Geological Survey, shaking was felt across the part of Riverside County.
People attending the festival also tweeted about feeling the tremors.
There were no reports of any damage or injuries so far.
The legendary Coachella Art and Music festival wrapped up on Sunday with more than 100,000 people attended the festival.
An annual festival features various artists from different genres of music including rock, indie and hip-hop as well as art installations and sculptures.
Eminem, Beyonce, the Weekend and Alan Walker were among the artists who performed this year.
