<p>Two people were on Friday injured in shooting near the campus of the Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, the university confirmed on Twitter citing the university police.</p>

<p>The university said the incident involved several individuals and that there was no threat to the campus at present.</p>

<p>The incident is being investigated, the university said.</p>
