The Philippines Elections 2022: Ferdinand Marcos Junior secures over 30 million votes

With more than 90 per cent of an initial count concluded, Ferdinand Marcos Jr, the son of former Philippines dictator Ferdinand Marco has secured almost 30 million votes, more than double the tally of his nearest rival liberal candidate Leni Robredo.
