New documentary sniffs out dying Italian art of finding truffles

The white Alba truffle is one of the most coveted and expensive ingredients in the world. The fungus grows only on the roots of tall oak trees in the forests of Piedmont, Italy. There's been no scientific method found to cultivate the truffle and the secret to their discovery lies solely with the locals, who are the subject of new documentary "The Truffle Hunters".
