"Men like him..." - Ocasio-Cortez fires back at Trump over recent remarks

U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez fired back at President Donald Trump, saying on Saturday (July 20) his attacks on her and three other liberal congresswomen were motivated by "ethnicity and racism" and rendered him unfit to hold office. "Men like him have been telling women like me to go back to my own country for a long time. It's not a new thing," Ocasio-Cortez said, adding that it was "dangerous" for an elected leader to make those sort of remarks. Ocasio-Cortez also rejected the President's attempts to distance himself from supporters' chants of "send her back" at a rally where he blasted Somalia-born U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar, one of the members of the so-called 'squad' of minority women lawmakers attacked by Trump in a series of tweets and remarks.
