Mauna Kea protests: 30 metre telescope on Hawaiian island

Native Hawaiians and their supporters are protesting the construction of a giant telescope on the state's tallest mountain, a site that some consider sacred. Protestors are continuing their long-running effort to stop construction of the 1.4 billion US dollars telescope. They have blocked a road for 11 days ( as of 26 July) to prevent construction crews from starting their work. Watch this video to know more.
