Germany Elections: Olaf Scholz's SPD loses Northern German state vote

In a major setback for chancellor Olaf Scholz, his party is projected to lose provincial elections in northern state of Schleswig-Holstein just five months after he was elected to power. According to projections, Germany's center-right Christian Democrats Union or the CDU is later to win the elections with exit polls predicting it could secure 41 to 42 percent of the votes.
