Singapore executed an intellectually disabled man. Malaysian man’s death triggered international outcry. The Indian-origin man was on death row for a decade. Nagaenthran Dharmalingam was accused of trafficking drugs. He reportedly trafficked 44 gms of heroin into Singapore. Activists, lawyers argued that his IQ was at 69. Malaysia had urged to reduce his death sentence.
