Afghan refugees in India worry for women under Taliban rule

Afghan refugees living in India for several years with the yearning to return to their homeland one day said on Monday (August 16) all their hopes have shattered as the Taliban took control of the country. Thousands of Afghan refugees have been living in India, most of them in various settlements in the capital New Delhi. At one of the refugee community residential areas, the sense of loss was compounded with a feeling of fear for the loved ones stuck in Afghanistan.
