'I'm not going to give names, numbers or anything,' Zidane on transfer strategies

Zinedine Zidane remained coy on the rumours in Spain that Real Madrid could launch a bid for Paris Saint-Germain's French star Kylian Mbappe in the summer.

On being asked about the possible targets in the summer transfer window, Zidane stayed tight-lipped. He said, "You can ask and I'll answer whatever I want. I'm not going to give names, numbers or anything."

"What I can tell you is that we are in that and we will talk about it in due time," he further added.

"The profiles of the players (I want) I will talk to the club about because I know perfectly what I want but not now and certainly not before a game," said Zidane during a press conference.

Real Madrid are looking to finish the season on a strong note as a very disappointing campaign winds down with no hopes of winning any piece of silverware.

On being asked about, the plans for next season. Zizou said, "No, I haven't made anything concrete yet. I want to change things. I have some ideas."

"We have talked about player profiles and that if I have it clear in my head, then we will see what we can get in the transfer market."

"But what is clear is that there will be changes in any case and this is something mandatory for everyone," Zidane concluded.
