After Dhawan's injury, Rishabh Pant has been brought in as cover in India's World Cup squad

Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan, who is likely to miss India's next two matches due to a suspected hairline fracture on his left thumb, has expressed his feelings via a tweet.

On his official Twitter account, Dhawan wrote a famous poem of Rahat Indori, who is an Indian Urdu poet and also a Bollywood lyricist.

The rough English translation is: "Like a smell, we fly from the flowers, we fly from the mountains like smoke, and these canons will not stop us from flying as we do not fly with the feathers we fly with courage."

Possibly his tweet indicates the injury due to which he might not play India's next two matches, against New Zealand and Pakistan.

After Dhawan's injury, Rishabh Pant has been brought in as cover in India's World Cup squad.

"Rishabh Pant is being flown in from India as cover at the request of the team management," a senior BCCI official currently in England told PTI.

Pant, whose omission from the original squad became a topic of heated debates given his stupendous form in the past one year, will reach England on Wednesday.

His arrival will be a day before India's game against New Zealand and he won't be considered a replacement till the time the team management takes a final call on Dhawan's availability for the rest of the tournament.
