Watch: Kashmiri girls to represent India at World Kickboxing Championships

In a proud moment for the state of Jammu and Kashmir and entire India, two girls Rabia Riyaz and Aabroo Bashir, hailing from Bandipora district have qualified for the World Kickboxing Championships.

The tournament is scheduled to be held in Argentina later this year.

Both the girls were part of the team that clinched gold medals at the National Kickboxing Championships, held at Patliputra Sports Complex in Bihar's Patna from December 20 to 31st, last year.

Organized by Kickboxing Federation of India, the J&K team won a total of 14 medals, including three gold, five silver and six bronze in the competition.

Apart from the duo, Hardik Chopra also won a gold medal and qualified for International event to be held in Argentina as well.

The World Kickboxing Championships will take place in November 2018.
