<p>Bollywood actor and producer Arbaaz Khan appeared before the Thane Anti-Extortion Cell after he was summoned by the police in connection with Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 betting scam on Saturday.</p>

<p>The actor was accompanied by brother Salman Khan's trusted bodyguard 'Shera'&nbsp</p>

<p>As per reports, Arbaaz's name cropped up during the investigation of high profile bookie Sonu Jalan. Subsequently, the actor was asked to record his statement by the ant-extortion cell of Thane crime branch.</p>

<p>Jalan is reportedly linked with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and was arrested from Kalyan court in Mumbai where he had come to meet one of the arrested accused in the same case of 2012 IPL betting case.&nbsp</p>

<p>During the investigation, it was revealed that Jalan was in contact with Arbaaz and that he placed bets for the actor.&nbsp</p>

<p>The police have also found pictures of him with Arbaaz Khan.</p>
