Bolt’s reply has garnered a lot of raised eyebrows with thousands of retweets with fans requesting Bolt to come back and give it another go in the grandest stage of them all.

Heading into the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Bolt was already the fastest man on earth after finishing 100m race in just 9.72 seconds. He surpassed every record by clocking 9.69 in the quadrennial event.

As per experts, Bolt could have clocked 9.55 had he continued with the same speed and not slow down to showboat in the race.

In the 2012 London Olympics, Bolt finished the 100m race in just 9.64 seconds which not only gave him a gold medal but also made him immortal.
