India's ace shuttler Saina Nehwal today beat badminton champion PV Sindhu to enter semi-finals of the Indonesia Masters in Jakarta.

Saina beat PV Sindhu 21-13, 21-19 to enter the women's singles semi finals.

Saina will next face-off against world champion and Thai fourth seed Ratchanok Intanon in the women’s singles semi-finals on Saturday.

This is the third time that both the Indian players competed with each other on the international stage.

At the 2014 Syed Modi Grand Prix Gold, Saina defeated Sindhu, who returned the favour at the India Open Super Series last year.

London Games bronze medallist, Saina had, however, upstaged Sindhu to clinch the women's singles title in the Senior National Badminton Championship last year.
