Manchester City have leapfrogged Liverpool in the Premier League and moved a point clear last weekend.

"We have played incredible over the last two months," said Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and hopes that his side can maintain their current form till the end of the season.

In a pre-match conference, Guardiola said, "Incredible amount of games we won, especially in the last two to three weeks how well we have played."

"Now we'd like to continue that way. In the end, there is a consequence in our results for the way we play. I would like to finish in that way but it's not easy now," he added.

Manchester City have leapfrogged Liverpool in the Premier League and moved a point clear last weekend and they will play Watford at home in the league on Saturday.

"In the Premier League, everything is close with Liverpool. Nothing is going to change too much with a win or loss in the title race," he said.

City's Spanish coach referred to all three matches the team will play this week (Premier League vs Watford, FA Cup vs Swansea City and UEFA Champions League vs Schalke) and said, "This week we have three games in three different competitions that allow us to go through or out."

"In the Premier League, everything is close with Liverpool. Nothing is going to change too much with a win or loss in the title race. But in the other competitions (those matches) are absolute finals."

They are still in the FA Cup and lead Schalke 3-2 after the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.
