Reportedly, Bayern Munich are the front-runners to sign the German winger and have already agreed on personal terms with the winger.
Guardiola, during the pre-match press conference ahead of the Premier League match against Burnley, said that he is disappointed that Sane has opted to part ways but he respects his decision and will help him till the last day of his stay with the Blues. The former Barcelona manager added that Sane wants another adventure of his career and it is fine with him.

"I’m disappointed of course. When we make an offer to a player, it is because we want him. We tried before the injury, we tried after and it was rejected. I said many time we want players who want to play with this club and commit,” Guardiola said on Friday.
"To try to achieve our targets but of course we respect him. He’s an incredibly nice guy. I love him so much. I have nothing against him but he decided he wants another adventure for his career. When this happens, we are going to help him until the last day.
"If he wants to leave, it is going to happen this summer or at the end of the contract. I think everybody knows and if at the end of this season an agreement can be found he will leave, if not he will leave at the end of his contract."
With UEFA announcing that the ‘Final-8’ of Champions League will be finished in Lisbon, Portugal, fresh doubts have risen on the pending second-leg of the match between Man City and Real Madrid. However, Guardiola said they would prefer to play in their home ground but are ready to adapt.
"We would love to play in the Etihad as normal but I think UEFA would rather [play in Lisbon] for health and security reasons so we are going to adapt."
