What the captains are saying:

Rohit Sharma: I would have chased too as dew comes in the second half which makes batting easier. The first half of the tournament was bit up and down. But now we know exactly what we need to do as a team. It is always challenging to play cricket here.

Suresh Raina: We will bowl first, wicket still looks the same. I think dew will be the factor. MS and Jaddu are not well, they have fever and they will miss today's game.

26 Apr 2019, 7:32 PM (IST)

Toss:

Chennai's skipper MS Dhoni wins toss and opts to bowl against Mumbai.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni will miss the match as he is down with fever and in his place, Suresh Raina will lead Chennai.

Besides Dhoni, Faf du Plessis and Ravindra Jadeja are also out of the team and their places have been taken up by Mitchell Santner, Murali Vijay and Dhruv Shorey.

Mumbai have made two changes. Ankul Roy will make his IPL debut while he will be joined in the team by Evin Lewis. Ben Cutting and Mayank Markande are the two players who have been left out.

What to expect from the match:

Chennai have already qualified for the playoffs but with 12 points third-placed Mumbai will look to consolidate their place in the top four and need at least two more wins to seal a playoff berth.

When they previously met in the first leg of this season, the Rohit Sharma-led side had outclassed Chennai team at Wankhede Stadium.

In today's match, Mumbai need to be cautious against Chennai as Dhoni and company have not lost a single game at their home so far in this year's league.
