Hyderabad have defeated Punjab by 45 runs. Chasing a target of 213 runs, R Ashwin-led team could manage to score only 166/8 in their 20 overs.
David Warner scored 81 which powered Hyderabad to mammoth 212 runs.
KL Rahul has been dismissed for 79 runs. The batsman was dismissed while trying to hit a shot.
Punjab are 145/5 after 17 overs. The team needs 68 runs in 18 balls to win this game.
Though KL Rahul is still on crease and is playing on 74, the target is too high to achieve.

Fifty comes up for KL Rahul. The opener is playing an applaudable inning but is failing to get a support from other batsman.
After 14 overs, Punjab are 130/5.
Punjab are in danger now as the side lost three quick wickets. First it was Pooran, followed by David Miller and finally R Ashwin.
Miller and Ashwin fell in the one over off Rashid Khan.
Nicholas Pooran has been dismissed, credits to a brilliant catch by Bhuvneshwar Kumar before the boundary line.

KL Rahul is standing like a wall with Nicholas Pooran at the other end.

R Ashwin strikes again to take his second wicket of the over and this time it's the big fish - David Warner.
Warner gave away his wicket to Ashwin while trying to hit a boundary. He fell for 81 runs in 56 balls which include seven boundaries and two sixes.
Pandey dismissed
Manish Pandey finally has to depart after a brilliant 82 runs partnership with opener David Warner.
Pandey was dismissed off Ashwin for 36 runs.
Mohammad Nabi has come to crease.
After 14 overs, Hyderabad are 147 runs for the loss of one wicket only.
David Warner is playing at 72 runs and is well supported by Pandey, who is playing at 31 runs.

Punjab skipper R Ashwin has won the toss and has opted to bowl against Hyderabad.
Speaking after the toss, Ashwin said, "Looks like a good deck, doesn't look it will change much. We're gonna bowl first."
Meanwhile, Hyderabad Skipper Kane Williamson said, "We would have bowled first as well. As Ash said, looks a good wicket that won't change much but can't do much now. He's been outstanding all season but as a batting unit collectively, we need to do well. As Ash said, it's business time of the season and we need to do well but also express ourselves.
