Mumbai beat Hyderabad!

Mumbai have defeated Hyderabad by 40 runs and the credit goes to one man and that is Alzarri Joseph.

Alzarri has clinched six wickets in the IPL game and has given only 12 runs in his 3.4 overs.

He dismissed David Warner, Vijay Shankar, Deepak Hooda, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul in his bowling spell.

Hyderabad have lost nine wickets and the side haven't even touched 100 mark. Skipper Bhuvneshwar Kumar was clean bowled and the credit goes to Alzarri Joseph.

Wickets are falling at regular intervals for Hyderabad. Alzarri Joseph took the wicket.

 After 16 overs, Hyderabad are 89 for the loss of seven wickets.

Hyderabad are 62/5 after 11.2 overs. 

Next batsman is Mohammad Nabi. 

Hyderabad have now lost Manish Pandey for 16 runs. After 10.3 overs overs, the team's score stands at 64 for the loss of four wickets.

Now, Vijay Shankar departs. Hyderabad are losing wickets very quickly. They are in trouble now as the score reads 43/3 after 7 overs.

They need 137 runs to win the game but the side has lost their top performers. 

Right now, Deepak Hooda and Manish Pandey are are on crease.

Mumbai is high on confidence now and are completely dominating the game. 

Hyderabad have lost the momentum as the side lost their openers too early. Warner was clean bowled by Alzarri Joseph.

The team needs to go slow.

Manish Pandey was dropped by Pollard, otherwise the wicket count would have been three.

Hyderabad lost their first wicket as Jonny Bairstow was dismissed by Rahul Chahar for 16 runs.

Warner is still on crease and have to play a crucial role to continue Hyderabad's winning streak.

David Warner and Jonny Bairtstow have started their chase of 137 runs. Warner is the backbone of the Hyderabad's batting line up which is well sup[ported by another opener.

Three overs have been bowled and Hyderabad have already made 27 runs for no loss.

Kieron Pollard's 26-ball 46 lifted Mumbai to a decent total of 136 runs after 20 overs.

Pollard's innings included two boundaries and four huge sixes. 

The last 10 runs which came in Bhuvneshwar's over were due to misfield.  

Mumbai first lost Hardik Pandya and later Rahul Chahar to be at 97 for the loss of seven wicket after 18 overs.

Mumbai will not even reach near 125 and might lose the game early to Hyderabad. 

!5 overs have been bowled and Mumbai's score stands at 75 runs of the loss of five wickets.

Hardik Pandya and Pollard are on crease and the two have the capability to take Mumbai to a fighting total.

Mumbai lost its third wicket when Quinton de Kock was dismissed off Siddrath Kaul for 19 runs.

Mumbai have lost the top order and are in trouble. Krunal Pandya and Ishan Kishan are on the crease. 

Five overs have been bowled and Mumbai's score stands at 28 for the loss of two wickets. 

On the last ball of the fifth over Sandeep dismissed Suryakumar Yadav. he ws LBW for 7 runs.

Rohit dismissed!

After getting two chances, Rohit Sharma has finally departed for 11 runs. He was dismissed off Mohammad Nabi while trying to it a big shot which eventually ended up in Deepak Hooda's hands.

Suryakumar Yadav was also in trouble in the next ball but is safe as the decision went to the third umpire which favoured the Mumbai batsman.

Rohit Sharma has been lucky twice. First with the review Hyderabad went with and second with the catch dropped by Siddarth Kaul for just one run. 

The non-dismissal might turn out to be a big disadvantage for Hyderabad.

Hyderabad's regular skipper Kane Williamson is still out of the game and the team will be led by pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Speaking after the toss, Kumar said, " Williamson is close to 100% fitness, but we aren't even half way through the tournament and with the World Cup coming up he doesn't want to take any chance. We are playing with the same XI.

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma said, " I would have batted first anyways. Just a different strategy and we worked out what these guys like to do here. And it is now important to assess the first two overs and then see what happens after that. The last match was a great game for us to win, it wasn't a big score to defend but the bowlers showed huge character to defend. I think we have a bowling attack that can defend any total on any track and keeping all of that in mind we are ready and set for this game. Lasith Malinga has flown down to Sri Lanka and Alzarri Joseph replaces him. Also Yuvi misses out and Ishan Kishan comes in."

Lasith Malinga out!!

Mumbai will miss the services of Lasith Malinga (for the next three matches) who flew back to Sri Lanka immediately after the fixture against Chennai Super Kings to take part in the Super Provincial One Day Tournament - a domestic competition in Sri Lanka. 

Hyderabad have won the toss and have opted to bowl against Mumbai.

Mumbai are back on track and would look to continue their winning streak. However tackling the bowling department of the Hyderabad side would be a difficult task.
