Mumbai registered their first win by defeating Bangalore by 6 runs.

It was the most dramatic game as the last ball bowled by Malinga was actually a no ball but it went unnoticed by the umpires.

Bangalore would have to wait for their next game to open their account. 

One last over is left and Bangalore need 17 runs to win.

Bangalore now need just 22 runs in 12 overs, thanks to brilliant hitting by AB de Villiers.

Ab de Villiers is back in form and is becoming a big trouble for Mumbai. The batsman reached his half century and was well supported by Shimron Hetmyer at the other end before he departed for 5. 

He too was dismissed by Bumrah.

Mumbai have got their big man as Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli departed for 46 runs while trying to hit a six. He was dismissed by none other than Jasprit Bumrah. 

Kohli has hit six boundaries in his 32-ball inning. 

For few overs, runs were raining for Bangalore as both AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli are smashing the ball out of the boundary line.

Bangalore have lost both their openers and Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers are on crease to continue their chase of 188 runs.

After 10 overs, Bangalore's score stands at 82 for the loss of two wickets. 

Bangalore have managed to give them a decent start as the openers have established 27-run partnership in just three overs. 

Hardik Pandya's 14-ball 35 run cameo powered Mumbai to 187 runs at M Chinnaswamy stadium.

Wickets kept falling for Mumbai, otherwise the totals would have crossed 200. 

Chahal took four wickets in his four overs.   Bangalore now needs 188 runs to register their first win in IPL 2019.

18th over has started and Hardik Pandya is trying to hit a few more runs for Mumbai. 

Krunal, although, departed after playing two balls only. It was a fantastic catch by Navdeep Saini.

Yuzvendra Chahal struck twice in an over to send back Suryakumar Yadav and Kieron Pollard. 

Chahal is also finished with his four overs with figures 38/4 in four overs. 

Chahal has ended Yuvraj SIngh mini cameo where the southpaw scored 23 runs in just 12 balls.

He slammed three two sixes in Chahal's  over and got caught while trying to hit the third one.

Rohit Sharma departs

Bangalore have got their man Rohit Sharma and have been successful in ending his knock for 48 runs only. 

Umesh Yadav bowled a shot delivery and Rohit hit is hard in air but could not make it reach the boundary line. 

A good catch by Mohammed Siraj give Bangalore their second wicket.

Mumbai: 82/1 after 10 overs

Rohit Sharma is unstoppable and is Bangalore are finding it hard to deal with him. The Mumbai batsman is on the verge of his first half century in this year's IPL with Suryakumar Yadav hitting at the other end.

Yuzvendra Chahal has give Bangalore its first wicket as the right-arm leg break bowled Quinton de Kock for 21 runs.

Rohit is still at crease and is taking the charge. meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav has come to help the captain. 

After Rohit, now Quinton de Kock is setting the stage on fire. However, he was dropped and that might cost Bangalore

Six overs have been bowled and Mumbai's score stands at 52 with Rohit playing at 31 and De Kock at 21 runs

Rohit Sharma is hitting!

The Mumbai batsman is aiming to send every ball out of the boundary line. De Kock, on the other hand, is keeping it slow.

Mumbai's score stands at 32 for no loss after four overs.
