As it happened | Hockey World Cup: Full time! Netherlands beat Canada 5-0

Full time!

Netherlands defeated Canada by five goals. In the first match Belgium defeated Pakistan by five goals. both the defeated teams had the same problems and the reason of their loss. 

Netherlands scored 5th goal. But the onfield umpire goes for Video referrel and the video umpire says the Netherlands fell and blocked the defender. So Free hit for Canada.

Penalty Corner for Netherlands and they again fail to convert. 

It's raining goals for Netherlands. They have scored the fourth goal and this time it is Thierry Brinkman

Netherlands have scored their third goal to further dominate the game against Canada.

Canada are trying hard to open their goal account but in vain. On the other hand, Netherlands have increased their attack to further dominate the game. 

Netherlands lead by 2 goal to NIL against Canada in cross over 4. 

Both the goals were scored in quarter two. While Netherlands had the chance to take the lead in Q1, but they failed to convert to Penalty corner.

Netherlands double its lead, minutes after drawing the first blood. Canada are now down to two goals to NIL.

They have to plan out a way to equalise or the scenario will be same of what we saw in Pakistan vs Belgium game.  

Pakistan lost 5-0 after failing to break the defence of their opponents. 

After missing the chance to convert the penalty corner in the first quarter, Netherlands scored a brilliant goal in the Q2 beginning to take the early advantage against Canada.

The Q1 ended goalless but Q2 surely won't. Let's see if Canada can equalise? 

Netherlands and Canada tackling brilliantly to each other's cricle entry. Meanwhile, a speedy strike from Netherlands hit the Canadian goal-keeper on helmet.

The first quarter is about to end in a few minutes but both the teams are goalless.
