India are heading into the match on the back of a commanding 5-0 win over South Africa, while the Red Lions managed a not-so-impressive 2-1 win over Canada. 

India presently stand atop in Pool C. A win tonight can assure them of a direct qualification for the quarter-final round while a loss will mean they will have to rely on crossovers to reach the quarters.
