Virat Kohli-led Bangalore and Dinesh Karthik’s Kolkata will face off at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy stadium for the Indian Premier League 2018 on Sunday.

The last time these two teams faced off in this season’s IPL, Kolkata riding on a quickfire fifty by Narine (50 from 19 balls) successfully chased down Bangalore's total of 176 with an over to spare.

The Kohli-led side will be looking for a revenge as they find themselves second from the bottom on the points table.

Both the teams would be looking to get back to winning ways after losing their previous match.

While Bangalore were denied a win by a MS Dhoni special, Kolkata were outplayed by Delhi at the Feroz Shah Kotla.

Bangalore would be one team which fails to perform worse at home ground than away venues.

Against Chennai, Kohli and team posted a 206-run target and still lost.

They are seventh in the points table with just two wins out of six games.

They host Kolkata at their home ground today. Kolkata suffered a big loss to Delhi in their previous game but will like to turn the fortunes with a win against Bangalore.

They have one of the strongest top-order batting but have failed as a bowling unit.
