India vs England, 4th Test, Day 1: Jasprit Bumrah bags 3 wickets as England fall for 246

England were bowled out for 246 runs in their first innings on the opening day of the fourth Test. 

Sam Curran was the top-scorer for the hosts, scoring 78 runs. He was also involved in two half-century partnerships. 

Jasprit Bumrah bagged three wickets for India while Ishant Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin and Mohammed Shami took two wickets apiece. 

India fielded an unchanged eleven from Nottingham, bringing an end to the 45-match streak of constant chopping and changing.

It was the first time in 39 Tests that Virat Kohli as captain fielded the same team as the previous match.
