Mohamed Salah got injured during the finals of UEFA Champions League while playing against Real Madrid and there were speculations that he could miss the football World Cup due to a suspected shoulder injury.

The injury was identified as shoulder dislocations, however, Egypt's FA is optimistic and tweeted that the team doctor had spoken with Liverpool officials who confirmed an x-ray showed ligament damage in his shoulder, rather than a fracture.

Egyptian star has finally spoken about his injury and tweeted, "It was a very tough night, but I'm a fighter. Despite the odds, I'm confident that I'll be in Russia to make you all proud. Your love and support will give me the strength I need."

The incident happened at the 30th minute when Mo Salah's right hand got stuck with Real Madrid's defender Sergio Ramos and he fell to the ground injuring his left shoulder.

Although, Salah had returned to the field after receiving the treatment but the injury prevailed and led to his ouster from the game.

It was heartbreaking to watch 44-goal sensation leaving the field in tears and the injury was one of the causes that led to Liverpool's defeat.
