'I have never wanted to be Kapil Dev,' says Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya produced a stunning, career-best spell, his maiden five-wicket haul in Tests to rip through England's batting line-up on the second day of the third Test at Trent Bridge on Sunday.
After his brilliant performance, few of the cricket experts such as Michael Holding said that he is becoming the "next Kapil Dev."

Although, Hardik paid little attention to the comparisons with legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, saying, "Let me be Hardik Pandya."
The 24-year-old Pandya playing in just his 10th Test said, "Let me be Hardik Pandya, I am good at being Hardik Pandya, I played 41 ODIs and 10 Tests being Hardik Pandya, not Kapil Dev."

Kapil Dev, an outstanding all-rounder, captained the Indian cricket team that won the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
"I have never wanted to be Kapil Dev," Pandya told reporters.
"Let me be Hardik Pandya, I am good at being Hardik Pandya, I played 41 ODIs and 10 Tests being Hardik Pandya, not Kapil Dev."
