After Real's manager Zinedine Zidane revealed that the Spanish giants are working on Bale's departure, speculations about his future have been increased

Tottenham Hotspur's manager Mauricio Pochettino told media that he is not aware of signing Welsh star Gareth Bale, who is very close to leaving Real Madrid.

After Real's manager Zinedine Zidane revealed that the Spanish giants are working on Bale's departure, speculations about his future have been increased.

"We hope he leaves soon. It would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team," the coach had said.

"I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done," Zidane added.

Lately, the Welshman has been linked to Tottenham, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

Reflecting on the same, Pochettino said, "Yes I saw in the media, but I don't know which club is working trying to sign him."

"At the moment I don't have any information from my chairman, I don't know if we are or some other club, you know, it's not my job, it's the job of my chairman that is trying to build the best squad as possible," he added.

Bayern Munich's midfielder Thiago Alcantara too added to the debate on Friday by suggesting that the four times UEFA Champions League winner would be 'welcome' at Bayern.

"If Gareth wants to come, any top player who wants to come here is welcome," said Alcantara.

Bale, who made an £85m move to Madrid from Tottenham in 2013 - a world record deal at the time, has three seasons left to run on his contract but rumours persist that he has fallen out of favour with Zidane.
