Since the cyclone Amphan entered West Bengal, people have been left without electricity and communication. And looking at the aftermath of Amphan, it is going to take a couple of days to get the entire picture clear. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday evening termed Amphan as “a bigger disaster than COVID-19”.

The situation surrounding COVID-19 in West Bengal has made things even trickier for authorities to work on the evacuation and restoration process.
