Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administration (CoA) has given clean chit to Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami over match-fixing allegations.

Neeraj Kumar, the former Police Commissioner of Delhi and head of the BCCI's Anti-Corruption unit was investigating Shami's alleged cash dealing after reports emerged that Shami was allegedly involved in match-fixing.

Neeraj Kumar submitted his confidential reports to the COA clearing Mohammed Shami from all "cricket related allegations".

According to the conclusion derived from the reports, it is quite clear that no further actions or proceedings under the BCCI anti-corruption code are required in the matter.

BCCI may give a Grade 'B' annual retainership contract to Mohammed Shami which was due for a couple of weeks before reports of match-fixing surfaced in the media.

Recently, Shami's wife Hasin Jahan had levelled serious allegations including adultery, match-fixing and even attempt to murder on Shami.
