Seven killed in bus-truck collision on Dhaka highway

Seven people including a child died and at least 20 suffered injuries in a bus-truck collision in the Southern part of Bangladesh on Friday night.  

Media reports said that the accident happened near the Gopalganj area when a passenger bus travelling to Pirojpur district hit a truck parked on the Dhaka-Khulna highway. 

The injured were immediately taken to the hospital. 

According to media reports, five people had died on the way to the hospital and a baby boy succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
