PM Imran Khan says COVID-19 graph rising in Pakistan

Islamabad and Gilgit Baltistan reported new cases as the virus continued to spread in the country.

Meanwhile, ahead of the Budge presentation, Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, PM Imran Khan's adviser on revenue and finance said the country suffered Rs 3 trillion loss in GDP due to coronavirus.

COVID-19 cases were Balochistan as well with 338 people falling ill with the virus in the past 24 hours taking the total coronavirus cases in the province to over 7, 600.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which has seen a surge of cases recently reported 581 new cases with the total number of cases rising to over 15,700.

Amid the rising cases, PM Imran Khan said that the coronavirus graph in the country right now is going up. The Pakistan prime minister urged citizens to follow government SOPs and take precautions in order to combat the virus.
